The ProMove Bariatric Sling can be used to aid the movement of a plus-sized person (up to 400kg), maintaining the dignity of the deceased while reducing the risk of manual handling injuries to those recovering the body.
Light and portable, the sling is particularly suitable for use in confined spaces. It can be easily placed under the deceased in a seated or lying position to form a secure bucket-shaped seat, without the need to physically hold or pull on an individual or their clothing.
Strategically-placed rubber handles at the front and back provide handling points for up to six operatives to distribute weight evenly and ensure controlled recovery of the body. Extension handles can be added for recovering individuals in awkward situations and these also allow up to eight individuals to share the load.
Manufactured in the UK from washable material in a discreet, muted colourway, ProMove bariatric slings can also be adapted to meet specific requirements.
