The Standard Decon Med Sled is an evacuation sledge for use at Hazmat and Decontamination incidents.
Used to manually transport non-ambulatory persons from the hazmat hot zone, through decontamination and into the cleared zone, the rescue sledge features six large handles that are easily grasped with Decon gloves, allowing it to be used as a two or four-man stretcher. Its ridged construction prevents pinch zones and eliminates the need for a hard backboard.
The non-absorbent Decon Med Sled is 100% Decon capable, allowing it to be cleaned and returned back to the field quickly. Easy to lift onto Decon shower rollers, all carry handles and straps are made from sealed webbing and machined holes in the sledge mean water drains rapidly.
When not in use the evacuation sledge rolls up into a compact storage / carry bag.
