The Evac+Chair 900H Power is a battery-operated, motorised evacuation chair for the emergency evacuation of the mobility-impaired.
Designed for both upward and downward evacuations in the event of a fire or other emergency, the chair is quick and easy for one or two operators to use. A 24V Lithium-Ion battery powers the Powered Belt Track System, which reduces manual handling and ensures smooth movement, while the easy-to-use control pad enables the user to control the speed and direction (upward or downward) of travel.
Pushing handles allow the chair to be easily manoeuvred on flat terrain and additional front handles enable a second operator to assist in the evacuation if required.
Passenger comfort is enhanced by a head support, arm rests and a foot rest, while a safety belt secures the passenger in the chair.
The battery has a run time of 90 minutes when in use and a lifespan of 3-5 years. It is fully charged in five hours.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Evac+Chair 900H Power comes with a battery (including a one-year warranty), battery charger and battery anti-theft key as well as an additional safety harness, wall mounting bracket, a dust cover for storage and a comprehensive user guide. Further training on using stair evacuation chairs can also be provided.
