The robust Evac+Chair 700H is a two-person operation chair, designed for use on spiral and narrow staircases. It is suitable for both upward and downward evacuations of individuals with impaired mobility in the event of a fire or other emergency.
The chair has a compact, easy to use design and can be operated by two to four people. A telescopic extendable handle and manual braking system are both adjustable, allowing for managed descent of payloads up to 159kg, and front grab handles provide control for the second operator. The unique track belt system helps control the smoothness and speed of descent or ascent.
Adjustable passenger chest straps and a foot strap secure the passenger safely and the chair also features a detachable seat and backrest, making it easy to clean and replace these parts if they get damaged or worn.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Evac+Chair 700H comes with wall mounting hooks, a dust cover for storage and a comprehensive user guide. Additional training on using stair evacuation chairs can also be provided.
