The Evac+Chair 500H MK5 is a robust evacuation chair, suitable for evacuating heavier individuals up to 227kg down stairs in an emergency situation.
Easy for either one or two people to use (dependent on the passenger payload), it removes the need for heavy lifting with its unique friction belt system. This self-braking track controls the smoothness and speed of descent while a double-handed grip and foldable lower handle provide further control.
Additional features include a redesigned hammock for greater passenger comfort and a sewn-in safety belt for improved safety and durability. A contoured headrest with integrated safety strap provides additional support along with the foot strap to secure the passenger’s feet.
Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Evac+Chair 500H MK5 features photoluminescent signage for easy identification and comes with wall mounting hooks, a dust cover for storage and a comprehensive user guide. Additional training on using stair evacuation chairs can also be provided.
